CrossCreeks Guide Service Fishing Report: Striper Fishing is Heating Up
As the summer sun beats down on CrossCreek Lake, anglers are flocking to the water in search of the elusive striper bass. These hard-fighting fish are known for their size and power, and they're keeping our guides busy day in and day out. With plenty of baitfish swimming around, it's no surprise that striper fishing has been excellent lately.
If you're looking to catch some stripers of your own, there are a few things you should know. First off, these fish prefer cooler water temperatures so early morning or late afternoon fishing tends to be more productive. Second, live bait such as shad or herring tend to work best when targeting stripers. Lastly, be prepared for a fight – these fish can put up quite the battle!

Me and an advid fisherman went out ttoday! we like trolling for big fish,and cooler weather so seat out at daylight! we hit some rarher shalliow wind blown banks and liaded up on big fish! We got one smaller fish and I fixed it for lunch ! Time to book!

ys altho its so hot there are good days fishing
i try method which ever is working regardless of type liked by customer! i am captain with 30 years experience on this kake! if I am wrong you still pay as fish have better experience and can make tgemsekves Eat! Nno atgument! but in 30 years I have eaten more fikets tgan them so I must be doing something right! Give me a call! i live beinf budy at 83 years old!

Although I prefer warmer weather, Novenber is an excellent time to fish for striper on Lake Texoma.
i have changed to trolling for bigger fish and results have been awesome. i use umbrella rigs but wont add anything other than that, dont want to give out my secrets, to others, or I will have too much competition getting in my way. CrossCreek Guide Service has been in business for past 26 yeas. Early retired Railroad man became a guide as I love fishing an being on the water fishing! My rates are changed some in thise years, butI feel my experience and gift of gab, keeps everyone entertained. i target big fish, and also getting my customer their 10 fish limit. Fish caught on bait are small, so sometimes do both. Big fish your allowed only 2,over 20 inches per prrson so might throw some back if you want continue to catch big fish. At age 81, it is a testiment I know what I am doing on Lake Texoma. Get with me and lets "geter done!

These youngsters come every year, early, and catch big fish every trip. I mean every trip! I actually caught a huge one in the same, same spot as a prior year with them, yesterday. What a great morning!
